We find funding where there was none before.
Our expertise has helped governments land grants as high as seven figures to keep their community safe. We use our experience to tap into funding that you may not have realised was available. Where there is limited experience in designing and developing multi-year projects and landing funding, we step in. Let us take the paperwork off of your plate.
Why RIC?
- RIC’s expertise allows us to see vulnerabilities within communities where you may not. Let us help you find the solutions.
- The RIC team has extensive experience liaising with community members to create strong plans for municipalities and governments. Our team provides a third-party perspective and facilitates discussions within your team to uncover expertise, insights, and potential gaps you never knew you had.
- RIC crisis planning establishes clear lines of communication and responsibility on your team in the event of an emergency. RIC provides technical expertise to fill the gaps in knowledge that your government may have.
Working towards reconciliation.
RIC is working towards reconciliation by following the Truth and Reconciliation #92, calling on Corporate Canada to:
- Commit to meaningful consultation, building respectful relationships, and obtaining the free, prior, and informed consent of Indigenous Peoples before proceeding with economic development projects.
- Ensure that Aboriginal peoples have equitable access to jobs, training, and education opportunities in the corporate sector, and that Aboriginal communities gain long-term sustainable benefits from economic development projects.
- Provide education for management and staff on the history of Aboriginal Peoples, including the history and legacy of residential schools, the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, Treaties and Aboriginal rights, Indigenous law, and Aboriginal–Crown
relations. This will require skills-based training in intercultural competency, conflict resolution, human rights, and anti-racism.
